Manitowoc Ice NEO is Very User-Friendly

The NEO’s simple and efficient control panel is what helps make it extremely easy to use. The easy-to-read display features just three buttons. Beyond the standard power button, the NEO has one button to control on what setting the machine will run. Whether it’s the 4, 12, or 24-hr setting, they’re all determined by one button. And the third button is to operate the machine in self-cleaning mode.

Below the buttons on the control panel is the Full-Bin notification icon. This lights up when the bin is full. And the final icon on the control panel indicates when maintenance is required on the NEO. The NEO comes in four different sizes, the smallest holds 140 lbs. of ice and the largest has a 300 lb. capacity.

Traulsen R & A Series hot-food holding cabinets feature the INTELA-TRAUL microprocessor control for precise temperature control from 135°F to 180°F (determined by the operator).

Hot Food Cab Temp Control 1The new heating system design includes a low-watt density heater in an encapsulated double-wall down duct. Two fans pull air from the top of the cabinet down over the heater element. This air then exits at the bottom of the cabinet and is drawn up over the product. The convective airflow distribution system ensures consistent temperature maintenance even under the most stringent conditions.

Not only do Traulsen hot-food holding cabinets heat efficiently, the heating system is simple to operate. With a convenient ON/OFF button, the “One-Time Temperature-Setting Adjustment” automatically warms the unit to the last temperature set during operation.

Rubbermaid’s Improved BRUTE Utility Refuse Can

As recently as last month, Rubbermaid released its new and improved BRUTE utility refuse can. The can features venting technology that makes it significantly easier for end users to remove full liners. Additionally, Rubbermaid added a pair of cinches near each handle so that the liners can be cinched into place rather than tied off.

Other improvements to the BRUTE include a reinforced base and molded handles on the base that make it easy to pick up and dump out. The new BRUTE is available in seven colors. Rubbermaid also has an improved lid that features channels for liquid drainage.

The BCT Control system features a touchscreen that easily allows operators to program up to 500, 15-step recipes. Recipes can even be categorized for easy access. The Blodgett Mini also features CombiOptima, which allows operators to set the cook temperature, time, or internal temperature, along with the humidity level. Once the desired settings have been programmed, they can be saved or used as one-time settings. CombiOptima measures and controls the cooking environment to give operators the results they want.

“Those who knowhttps://www.kitchenbiz.biz/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/victorinox.jpg choose Victorinox.” With their latest research findings, it makes sense. Of late, Victorinox has boasted that their knives are both 25% sharper and last 65% longer than their competitors’.

Lab testing on sharpness proved that, out of the box, Victorinox knives do rate as sharper. The tests look at the knife blade’s edge as well as how well it cuts in relation to how much pressure is required for the cutting. To extend this test, the knives were used over uniform periods of time and then the sharpness was tested again. And again, according to the research, the Victorinox knives rated sharper. To test for durability, Victorinox  consulted its customers in the meat processing field. They asked their customers to use Victorinox cutlery as well as knives from the competition and they measured how often the knives needed to be replaced. On average, the results justified Victorinox’s claim.
