Inside Sales Associate
Location: San Marcos, CA (In-Person, Non-Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time 8AM-5PM, Monday to Friday
Department: Sales
Applicant responsibilities include cash & carry showroom sales transactions, keeping our sales floor stocked and organized with merchandise, assisting walk-in clients with sales as well as quoting/estimating via in-person, phone and email communication. Applicant must be familiar with standard Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Acrobat as well as the ability to learn our industry-specific quoting software. Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from our office in San Marcos, CA.
Must be proficient in English, with a bi-lingual capacity preferred.

Our 10,000-square-foot showroom features thousands of products, ranging from commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration to smallwares and kitchen essentials. We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Showroom Sales Associate / Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.
Position Summary
As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. You will help customers identify the right equipment and supplies for their business needs, provide product recommendations, generate quotes, and support the sales process from inquiry to purchase.
Whether you have restaurant equipment experience, restaurant industry experience, or a strong customer service and sales background, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom
- Interact with an exceptionally diverse clientele, from independent restaurant owners and local entrepreneurs to executive leadership teams representing luxury hospitality brands, multi-unit restaurant groups, and internationally recognized restaurant chains.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and supplies
- Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up on customer inquiries
- Maintain strong product knowledge across restaurant equipment and supplies
- Build relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, operators, healthcare institutions and hospitality professionals
- Support inside sales efforts through phone, email, and walk-in customer interactions
- Maintain showroom organization, cleanliness, and product displays
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory awareness and special-order requests
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales goals
Qualifications
Preferred
- Experience in restaurant equipment sales
- Experience in foodservice, hospitality, restaurant management, or kitchen operations
- Previous inside sales or retail sales experience
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and supplies
- Bi-lingual Proficiency is encouraged

Schedule
- This position is open to applicants willing to work Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. This is a NON-REMOTE, IN-PERSON position.
