Groen Intek Connectionless Steamers

Recognized as Best-in-Class 2014 by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine, Groen steamers have become leaders in the foodservice industry.

The Intek Connectionless Steamer from Groen combines power and efficiency to form a reliable steam cooking solution for your kitchen. This combination also won’t drain your energy consumption! The Intek Connectionless Steamer is ENERGYSTAR rated, using 67% less energy than other comparable steamers in its class.

It uses less water too! Fewer than 1.5 gallons per hour are used, leading to less waste, and more money back in the operator’s pocket. Because it doesn’t have a boiler or conventional generator, the Intek Connectionless Steamer requires no traditional de-liming, boiler maintenance or harsh cleaning chemicals, saving time, money and the environment. Cleaning is a breeze too, as a simple vinegar-water mix is needed to wipe down the unit.

Features:

  • Internal side-mounted convection fan provides even energy distribution throughout cooking cavity, ensuring all product cooks consistently with no hot or cold spots
  • No traditional de-liming. Saves time, costs and helps the environment
